The Athletic Benefit Meeting resulted in a loss of £25 to the local Association. New Zealand's intentions in regard to the Home trip being known, the team will not go until next year at the earliest. Rosengrave won the champion long jump with 22ft 3in. Campbell, of Queensland, won the 440yds, unopposed, in 54 S-10.eo. Rowley won the 100yds in llsco. English won the high jump with sft 9in. Richards won tho 120yda and 440 hurdles in 18 l-sseo and Imin 6seo respectively. Auckland, January 8. At the Eight Honrs League’s sports there was a moderate attendance. Xu the onemile professional race W. Huokstep, from 25yds behind scratch, did the mile in 4miu 81 l-Ssec, ertua! to Amin 27seo, and was not pushed.
