GO J tons of concentrates at Port Pirio, and sailing immediately for Wellington, to bo despatched thence early in December to catch the March sales j this vessel to Be followed at an interval ot throe weeks by tho ne'y.sliip Katy, 2150 tons, also stiffened with 900 tons of concentrates at Port PiriO. Tho barques Casablanca and Auriga, now at Dunedin, will load at Auckland and Napier, and the Laira, duo from London in January, will also bo employed. A Chinaman has been kil'edat Butcher's Point, Alexandra, by a stone falling on him. W ESTPor-T, October 14. At the Hospital Board meeting to-night Mias Payne, of Wellington, was appointed matron.
