The death is announced of Sir Isaac Holden, head of the firm Isaac Holden and Sons (Limited), and formerly M.P. for tho Keighley division of Yorkshire. [lhe deceased was born in ISO 7, and at tho of 10 ho was apprenticed to a weaver. Yount' Isaac then educated himself, with tho aid of evening classes, until he was fit to obtain employment as a teacher. Subsequently he wont into business, and ultimately head of a largo wool-combing business, with branches at Bradford, itheims and Croix, He entered Parliament in 1855 ] CuitISTCHUKCH, August 16. Mr W. MoNab, a very old settler, died suddenly to-day.
