CRUEL TREATMENT OF AFRICAN NATIVES.

The missionaries in the Congo State are making complaint of - the crnel treatment to which the natives are being subjected. Persons engaged in the rubber trade, the missionaries declare, are answerable for the burning of forty-five villages in one district.
