NERVE FORCE.

Very few people understand the part the nerves play in the human system. It is necessary to have proper nerve force, for instance, to enable the stomach to perform its functions. Some years ago this was proved to demonstration by the following experiment conducted by medical men of standing. Babbits digest their food very rapidly, and wore consequently chosen for the experiment. The eight pair of nerves in the neck wore severed just after a full meal (the rabbit had previously been starved), and six hours after the rabbit was killed, and the food was found in the stomach in a perfectly undigested form. This experiment conclusively proved that severing the eight pair of nerves in the neck deprived the stomach of its nerve force, so lhat digestion cannot be effected. Scientists infer from this that reflex actions between the stomach and the nerves are continually taking place, and anyone Buffering from dyspepsia, sluggish liver, constipation, or last, but not least, nervousness, should try all they can to get rid of their trouble. The very beat remedy made is the one to take, and that one is Loasby’s “ Wahoo,” a purely herbal compound, which strengthens the stomach and is admitted to bo the most powerful nerve and tonic made. It is also a wonderful blood purifier. ** Wahoo can bo obtained retail from all chemists and grocers, and wholesale from Kempthorno, Prosser and Co.’s N.Z. Drug Company. 303
