WELLINGTON CASH CYCLING CLUB.
At a well-attended meeting of the above club last night at the Exchange Hall the following officers were elected*.—-Patron, Lord Glasgow; president, Hon li. J. Seddon; vice-presidents, Messrs P. S. Cassidy and T. A. Field; captain, Mr R. J. Atkinson; vico-captain, Mr J. Steadman ; hon. see., Mr A. E. Wakeman; treasurer, Mr G. H. Goodali; managing committee, Messrs J. N. Grant, F. L. Seager, T. O. Fyfe, J. A. Lyle, M. Hall; auditors, Messrs F. L. Seager, J. Steadman; delegates to the New Zealand Cyclist Union, Messrs T. M. Lyle, A. Barker and C. Pownall. A number of new members were enrolled. Mr W. J. Williams, secretary of tho Athletic Park Company, stated that Ills company wore prepared to lay a track on the Park if .£2OO were subscribed. The Wellington Amateur Club have already taken steps in this direction, and it is understood a large portion of this amount is already subscribed. It is proposed to issue .£1 shares so there is every probability of yet having a good track in Wellington. A hearty vote of thanks to Mr J. ??; Grant as chairman and convenor closed tho
