There were a largo number of players on tho links on Saturday. Mr D. Prydo won the Handicap Bogey Competition, his round being done in 73 strokes, which has not been beaten in a competition. The following were the principal scores: —D. Pryde, 2 holes np, Dymock, 1 hole up ; Wardrop, Webster, Hadfield and Hodaon, all square; Tripp andHowden, 2 holes down ; A. Duncan and Jaokson, 3 holes down; Caldwell, 4 holes down; Todd and A. Watkins, 5 holes down ; Hialop, Sir A. Donglas and Leckie, G holes down; Lees and Kirkby, 7 holes down; E. Pearce, S holes down ; Chapman, 9 holes down ; Moorhouse, 10 holes down; Baker and Brandon, 13 holee down. The Ladies’ Championship of New Zealand is to be held on the Miramar links from the 31st August to the sth September.
