Ministers were in Cabinet yesterday afternoon, and again last night. . We understand th?»c Mr T. M. Wilford has made up iris mind to contest the Otaki ceat at tho general election. Qujt© a host of candidates are likely to contest tho Auckland seat at the general election. Amongst the new men are Messrs W. J. Napier, J. M. Dargaville, Fawcus and Dr. Laishley. Mr Thomas Sidey is to be a candidate for the Hawke’s Bay seat iu the Liberal interest.
