The Mararoa shipped the racehorse Mahaki for Gisborne to ; fulfil his engagements on Thursday next, after which Mahaki goes, on to Wellington. The racehorses Bluefire, Bloodshot, Ebor and Norton are also being conveyed to their several

destinations, as well as the yearlings purchased by Messrs Stead and Lowry at the Wellington Park sale.
