The cricket match between Stoddart’s team and Ballarat representatives was drawn, The local men were all out in the first innings lor 103. The Englishmen, in their second innings, lost seven wickets for 149—Brookwell, 35; Stoddart, 32. THE INTBECOLONIAL MATCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association, — Copyright. Adelaide, January 8. In the match with South Australia, New South Wales in the second innings scored 247—Moses, 77 ; Gregory, 42; Xredale, 25 ; Donnan, not out, 48. South Australia, with 170 to get, have lost three wickets for 24. Owing to the rain last evening the match between the Midland and Phcenix Clubs could net be resumed. The game will bo continued to-morrow evening. Mr H. D. Bell has accepted the office of vice-president of the New Zealand Cricket Council, The following will represent the United Tradesmen against Porirua to-day : Lowers, Bernasconi, Wyatt, Holt, Burbridge, Atkinson, Billman, Ivor, Bridge, Matson, Shepherd j emergencies, Fellows, Slinn. Train leaves Manawatu Station at 1,20.
