()?Kll PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, June 13. Hews from Fiji states that on the 3rd inet., H.M.S. Goldfinch, Captain Kingsmill, arrived at Sava (Fiji) from Tonga having visited Raratongi on her voyage from Auckland. She has left again for Noumea, where she will await the arrival of H.M.S, Cordelia, acting as tender for that ship while cruising through the New Hebrides Group. The Cordelia left Suva on 25th ult., for Tonga, with Sir J. B. Thurston, the Go vernor and High Commissioner. His Excellency was to be absent some ten days, and (ho Cordelia, on her return, would, after spendieg a few days in port, extend her arniso to the New Hebrides. Sir J. B. Thurston’s object In visiting Toaga was to be present at the opening of the new Tongan Parliament.
