SALE OF FURS.
The extensivocoliection of fnrs cn exhibition at the premises, Panama street, lately occupied by Bing, Harris and Co., which is to be sold by Messrs O. Thomas and Co. at 10 o’clock to-day, was displayed by gaslight on Saturday evening, and was inspected by a large number of people. The fnrs are direct from tbe establishment of Mr S. R. Clark, of Brunswick, Victoria. ,Mr Clark has secured prizes at the principal exhibitions in tbe world, and he was awarded a medal and diploma at the recent Colonial and Indian Exhibition, the only award ob. tained by any farrier in Australia. These successes, in addition to the many private testimonials he has received, may be taken as ample proof of the excellent quality of his manufaotnres. The catalogue for to-day's sale comprises 202 lots, including a magnicent sealskin mantle. The furs and skins have been made up into all manner of articles, both useful and ornamental, and the number of visitors who inspected them on Saturday augurs well for the success of the sale to-day. The terms of the sale are cash, and the goods will bo sold without reserve.
