(PER PRESS .ASSOCIATION.) Ashburton, June 12. In Ashburton and the Ashburton district all licenses were granted. The chairman addressed the applicants pointedly re Sunday trading, and said a conviction wonld entail the loss of the license. He complimented one hotel upon closing altogether on Sundays, and urged the others to do the same. Tiaiarh, June 12. The election of the Temuka Licensing Committee (moderate) is to be attacked on the ground that an improper roll was used.
