Mr F, Bills, of Otaki, had tho misfortune to lose his thoroughbred maro Satanella, dam of Bahai, on Saturday last. The cause of death is nob known. W. Clifford, the well-known jockey, was a passenger to Sydney by tho s s. Tekapo on Saturday. Ho took with him the wellknown racing hack maro Emerald, whoso last performance in New Zealand was running Swivel to o head at Waipawa a few days ago,
