BOWLING.
Notwithstanding the threatening weather on Saturday afternoon there was a. pretty good muster of bowlers on the Wellington Club’s green, which was fairly playable for the first time for a week past. The season io now rapidly drawing to a close, and the attendance is pretty well confined to the enthusiasts, who are loth to relinguish their favourite game. Following are Saturday’s scores ; Bink No. 1. S. Brown Harris Miller Matheson Whltohouso Barron G.IP. Wilson (skip) 21 Ballinger (skip) 18 Bikk No. 2. Beid Lookio Barraud Kiley Young Lindsay Gray (skip) 21 S imple (skip) lo Risk No. 3. Willeston M cLellan Jones Manning Bussell Drummond Tustin (skin) 21 Didsbury (skip) 1G PvINK No. 4. Mitchell Hart Letham Sharp Campbell McGregor Lambert (skip) 21 McGlashan (skip) 9 During tho afternoon tho final game for tho junior bowls wa« playod off, and attracted quite a orowd of spectators. Drummond, Tuatin, and L. Blundell had all tiod for the p'izo with 105 points, and, therefore, each had to play the other two to fix the winner, tho outcome being that Drummond secured the coveted trophy with a score of 41, Tustin being second with 39. Tho ties for the other trophies will be played during tho week, and those interested are requested to make arrangements accordingly.
