(PER press association,) Christchurch, May 15. The building known as the Palace Rink, Gloucester street, was to-day submitted _to suction by Matron and Co. (associated with the National M. and A. Company), for absolute sale. The property on which it. stands is leased for a term, of which 14 years have to run. The goodwill of the lease, with the rink and ail other improvements thereon, was offered in one loti There was only one bid, and it was knocked down to Mr J. Gould for £IOO., The original contract price for the rink was £4500. Thera : have been numerous improvements made i since to the building. ,
