CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, April 17. At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board to-day it was decided to again write to the Government aa to the Industrial School, pointing ont that last year the Board had no less a snm than £3250 for the support of indigent children, which they had handed over without having the slightest control in regard to the present bringing up or disposal of the children, and without having any control whatever over the expenditure. They again pointed out that the system was altogether opposed to the principles which ought to be carried out in representative and local I self-government. 1
