A WOOL AND GRAIN SHOW.

CnEisTCHUP.cn, November 8. With the object of collecting exhibits for the Imperial Institute, it was decided, at a Sub-Committee meeting held to-day in the rooms of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association, to hold a wool and gram show in March next, and, if possible, to extend the scope of the exhibits so as to include a Local Industries Exhibition. It is hoped by means of this show to secure exhibits of wool so as to have a permanent exhibition of the best clips from this Colony continually on view in London. It was resolved that the quantity of wool for exhibition in each class be for greasy wool not less than ten fleeces, and for scoured or slips not less than 1001 b. With regard to local industries, the Government will probably be asked to contribute by purchasing exhibits of a costly character, and it is thought that they may probably comply with the request.
