BOAT ACCIDENT AT ROTORUA.
(UNITED FKE99 ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, May 8. A whaleboat containiog come Native*, sailing on Lake Botorna, was struck by a whirl, wind near Mokoia Island and capsized. Some clang to the boat, whilst two swam to the mainland to get assistance, a distance of two miles, landing quite ezhaastad. A canoe rescued the remainder, two men, a little girl, a young woman, and a child.
