New Zealand Times Office, Wednesday Evening. Messrs Laery and Campbell report that there are no alterations whatever from last ■week’s prices. It is still hard to get millers’ values tor the best brands ef flour, while there are inferior sorts offering so cheaply. Bran and pollard is hard to procure. For oatmeal there is not much inquiry. Oats have been offering pretty freely during the week, but without very material alteration in price. Maize has been offering, but at prices that will not leave a margin to sell again ■in this market. There are but few samples of chick wheat being offered. Parcels of whole wheat are almost unattainable; for such as there is considerably advanced prices are asked. Potatoes are in a moat unsatisfactory condition, there being large quantities of very inferior sorts, which are hard to .quit, and for which holders would take almost any price that was offered, while really good potatoes are scarce.
