Galbraith's patent agency is carried bn in offices in the Harbour Board’s Buildings. Messrs F. Sidey and Co. continue Mr Mulligan’s sale of clothing, jewellery, Ac., to-day, at 3 p.m. Messrs T. K. Macdonald and Co. sell, at 2 p.m. on -Monday, on premises, Feathorstonstreet, just vacated by Messrs Lyon and Blair, fittings, furniture, &c. The poll of the Fetona Town District ratepayers on the question of the special loan, will be taken on Wednesday, Mr W. J, W. Robinson invites tenders for erecting briok and concrete buildings. The executors in the estate of the > .late Nicholas O’Shea advertise for sale, farm at Upper Belmont, with stock. The 18th inst. is fixed for elections of a number of country School Committees, The Rangiora High School Governors meet on May 13 to oensider applications and elect a headmaster, Mr N. J. Isaacs sells at 11 a,m. to-morrow, the stock of a fancy goods store, Mr C. B, Morrison, solicitor, has taken the offices lately occupied by Messrs Bullet and Gully. The time-table of the Union Steamship Go.’s Auckland and Ban Francisco service Is published. The R.M.S. Ruapehu will leave Lyttelton for London, on Thursday, June 3rd, “Confusion” will be repeated to-night at the Theatre Royal.
