BZOIEB'S TELEGE.USB. (Received October 4, 0.50 a.m.) , Sydney, October 3. The first three heats for the rowing trophies offered by Mr Frank Punch were rowed to-day on the Paramatta River, and were won. by Laycock, Trickett, and Rush respectively. The contest will be continued on the sth and 7jth instants.
