The Bonded Warehouse account, prepared by the Customs Department, for the quarter ended 31st March last, shows the following quantities of dutiable articles in bond in the port of Wellington at that date : Spirits (in gallons).—Brandy, 30,805; geneva, 4651; gin, 1406; rum, 5702 ; whisky, 15,780; other kinds, 6270. Wine (in gallons).—Port, 8202; sherry, 7700 ; sparkling, 2380; other kinds, 4400; Australian, 1749. Ale and beer (in ga110n5).—18,443. Tobacco (lbs), 94,392; cigars and snuff, 9775; tea (lbs), 18,200; coffee, cocoa, and chocolate, 57.280 ; sugar (lbs), including molasses and glucose, 430,380. Opium (lbs), 432 ; rice (cwts), 279 ; hops, 13 ; dried fruits, 114. Apparel, drapery, and soft goods (packages), 250 ; boots and shoes, S3o._ Kerosene (gallons), 17,378. (united tress association.)
