Mr. Hunter Nolan reports:—Dairy cows in good demand, £7 10a. to £l2. ; fat cattle, 355. to 40s. per 1001 b. Unless shipments of cattle arrive the supply will be most limited. Sheep are in limited numbers, and keenly competed for at 3s. 4d. per eight pounds. Mr. G, W. Binney reports the grain market dull. Stocks in first hands, very heavy ; oats, 55.; barley, ss. 9d. ; wheat, Cs. 3d. ; bran, £7 10s.; pollard, £8 ; flour, £l4; maize, ss. Cd. ; hams and bacon, lOd. to lid. ; butter, Is. 3d.; cheese, Bd. ; peas and beans, 55.; kauri in logs and sawn, plentiful. DUNEDIN. Produce prices.—Flour, £l2 to £l2 10s. : oatmeal, £23; pearl barley, £25 ; bran, £5: pollard, £0; chaff, £4 10s. ; hay, £0; potatoes, £4 103; wheat, 4s. Cd. to 55.; barley, 4s. Cd. to 55.: oats, 4s. to 4s. 2d.
