A GRIEVANCE AT FOXTON.
TO THE EDITOJi. Sin, —Now that we have a Local Board at Eoxton I think it quite time that some notice should be taken with regard to the cattle allowed to roam at large, through every highway and by-way within ten miles radius of this most important place. It is true there is a public pound, also a poundkeoper ; it is also true that that functionary has cattle, and, like the rest of his neighbors, they—the cattle—often stray where they should not, doing damage to a greater amount than the mere poundage fees. What is wanted here is, that some stringent measure should be adopted to prevent cattle wandering about in the streets ; the inhabitants would be able to go from house to house in safety, and the township would bo rid of a public nuisance. By inserting this you will oblige, An Injuked One.
