The following notices of motion will come up for consideration: By H. W. Davies: That where a greyhound is leased for racing purposes, such leas© must be for the remaining part of a seaso-n. All leases must be registered with the N.Z.C.A. at the cost of 2s 6d at least one month before the leasee can be deemed the bona fide owner for the purposes of guarding, etc. By the Manawatu C.C.: To amend Rule Number 27 of the N.Z.C.A., to read a® follows: —When two greyhounds remain in for the deciding course, the stakes shall be considered divided if they be»long to the same owner or partners; but if one of the two which do not belong to the same owner or partners be drawn from lameness or from any cause clearly affecting his chance of winning, the other may be declared the winner, the facts of the case being clearly proved to the satisfaction ox the Stewards; and in. this case the owners may agree to divide. The same rule shall apply when more than two dogs remain in at the end of a stake which is not run out, and in case of a division between three or more dogs of which two or more belong to the same owner, these latter shall be held to take equal shares of the total amount received by their owner in the division. By the Oamaru C.C.: 1. That the decision come to by the N.Z.C.A. last season that no dates for coursing meetings be alloited before December Ist be rescinded. 2. That the foliowin<? clause be added to rule 22: —O'nlv club® holding coursing meetings be allowed to take part in committee meeting®. By the Dunedin C.C.: That no stakes be allowed to be run under the ausp’ces of the N.Z.C.A. when the full nomination money be under Two Pounds (£2). Consideration of report of Special Committee re appointing judge for the colony and general.
