(From Our Own Correspondent,) On August Ist a most enjoyable evening was spent in Bennett’s Hall. It took the form of a kitchen party, every member present taking something for the kitchen. Supper of an excellent quality was handed round, and dancing was, kept up till an early hour. The music was provided by Mrs Peyton the extras being played by Mrs Peyton and Mr McCormick. The hall was beautifully decorated by Messrs Brooks, Heald, and Davidson, assisted by Messrs Brown, Parks, and Dingle. Great credit is due to these young people for the success of the party.
