RENTS AND WAGES.
AN INTERESTING RETURN.
Attached to the annual report of the Labour Department, presented to Parliament yesterday, is a return showing the rents paid by workers and their proportion to wages during the year 1904. This gives the following figures in regard to the four cities: — • AUCKLAND.
