PERTH, August 16. At an inquest' on H. I. Blake, manager and attorney of the New Zealand Accident Insurance Company, whose mutilated body was found on August Bth, the inspector stated that he had suspended Blake for irregularities, and Blake had cabled to his father (Sir Henry Blake, Governor of Ceylon) for money to meet the deficiency. PERTH, August 17. At the inquest on H. I. Blake, manager and attorney of the New Zealand Accident Insurance Company, the evidence showed that a cablegram from his father (Sir Henry Blake, Governor of Ceylon), in reply to deceased’s request for money, was delivered the day after the deceased’s death. It contained the one word “ Impossible.” The company’s inspector states that the deficiency exceeds the amount cabled for—namely, £ISOO. Evidence was given showing that the deceased was insured for £BSOO.
