There was a short sitting of the City Police Court on Saturday morning, Dr McArthur, S.M., presiding. A firstoffending inebriate, who was remanded the previous day, was convicted and discharged, arrangements having been made for his admittance to the Ohiro Home. Bail as previously fixed was allowed. The export of timber from Greymouth during the month of May was a record. . It amounted to forty million superficial feet.
