A lady correspondent, residing at Lcvin, writes:—l have been told by a lady in the Wellington district, who for years lias been a martyr to neuralgia and headaches (especially' after driving in the ordinary way), and whose husband lias quite recently' purchased a motor-car, that after riding in it she never has an attack, and that liei health is now wonderfully improved. Small wonder that the terrestrial fly big machine has come to say. The construction of the Victoria, College building on the slopes of Salamanca road has so far proceeded that the walls of the main bloc j, which is to he devoted to the arts department, are nearly completed, aind the roofing will be commenced shortly. In the science building, the block behind the arts section, the builders have reached the third floor. The work ol cutting down tlie bank in front of Lie main building to a depth of 12ft, and preparing for the flight of steps to lead up to the main entrance, is still to be undertaken-
