It is entitled “A 1 Song of Empire,” V»il probably be dedicated to “the ty-n Joseph Chamberlain, Empire-Builder,” and is of a stamp suited for sinking at high-class concerts and entertainments. Those who have heard it sung in Wellington have expressed warm admiration, both of the sentiments and the musical interpretation.
