WELLINGTON CLUB.
At the annual meeting .of the Wellington Heckeiy Club on: Thursday , night there av<is ctn a-ttenchuD.ee- of aho»ut thirty, members, Captain Wheeler presiding. The report congratulated the club on its A'-ery fair record for last .season, the senior and. junior teams having been runners-up for each championship; The club members ' Avere also congratulated on having securedm splendid ground at Miramar. Thanks AA’ere- extended to Messrs-J. H.: B. Coates;Ev D. Bell and H. R. Cooper for donations to the club’s funds, and to Air H. Bridge for Ids untiring' services as referee.. The balance-sheet Avas a very satisfactory one, shoving a cash credit balance of £l4 Os 7d.

Preston; B. Balliarry, W. S.Wheeler (re-elected),; delegates to Wellington Hockey Association, Alessrs C. E. Bridge and E. H. Pope; treasurer; Air F. H. Pope; secretary, Air J. PIC Aierrie (re-elected); auditor; Airr A. DeCosta.. It AA T as ; resolved that ' the season beopened on the-sth April; next; Avith a match at Aliramar.' ' : KARORI CLUB. The fifth annual meeting of the’Karori Hockey-Club avus : held ‘at the Refreshment moms, Karori, on Thrusday night. Mr R. C; Bulkley presided, and. there Averethirty, members present. The annual report and the balance-sheet (avhick slioavs a credit of £8 15s lOd) Avere-adopted.: The folloAving officers. Avere elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr Rv C. Bulkley; vice-presidents. Messrs 5 C. Hv Williams and W. 11. Tisdale and the - Rev A. L. Hansell; captain, Mr Li Hill; Aucecaptain Air T. Spiers; horn, secretary. Air W. S. Williams: hon. treasurer. Mr
A Cathie; management committee, Messrs Gj Davies;, A. Cathie, C. Campbell, and W. E. Dasent; match committee, Messrs C. Campbell, W. E- Dasent, T. Spiers; auditor, Mr C. J. Dasent; delegates, Messrs W. E. Dasent and C. Cathie. Ten new members were elected. The report expressed- regret that Messrs Wilson and Mackenzie have left the district. 1 Messrs R. C. Bulkley and . 11. S. Dibley were thanked for donations to the funds. Messrs R. C. Bulklev, C. Hi Williams and W. H, . Tisdall. promised to present trophies to the club during the coming season. It was decided to hold a smoke concert* on the opening day. A hearty vote of thanks-was accorded, to the -retiring officers.
