LADY PIONEER’S INTERESTING NOTES

Very interesting indeed are the notes of the life of a lady pioneer, aged sixtyn eight—Mrs Elizabeth Knight, of Mas.terton—with which we have been favoured for publication. “I left my home in Hampshire twen-ty-seven years ago/’ said she, “to sail over ten thousand miles of sea to N.Z. For nineteen years I resided in Tenui, Castle Point, and despite the roughness of a pioneer’s life all went well. But when I later on settled in Masterton, ill-health overtook me, and I became a victim to indigestion and kidney troubles. Frequently I grew quite dizzy and my head would swim round. My appetite failed and I experienced great discomfort after eating. I gradually lost flesh, and as medical treatment and th© taking of tonics did not improve m© I naturally became quite despondent. I had suffered for five years like this when I saw Dr. Williams’ pink pills advertised. I procured some and began taking them. As I progressed with the treatment I steadily improved until I was able to discontinue them. Now I neither suffer from indigestion nor kidney troubles, and I therefore recommend Dr. Williams’ pink pills with great pleasure.”

The caus© of indigestion is generally insufficient of impure blood. When the blood is enriched, each organ of th© body has requisite strength given it to perform its functions. Dr. Wik liams’ pink pills give this strength by making new blood; they also ton© up the nerves and thus cure anaemia, debility, rheumatism, sciatica, neuralgia, consumption, bronchitis, coughs, colds, St. Vitus’ dance, paralysis, effects of fevers, etc. Sold by chemists and storekeepers and by th© Dr. Williams’ Medicine Co., Old Custom House street, Wellington, three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free. Mind yon ask for Dr. Williams’ pink pills when purchasing; substitutes are useless.
