Cholmondeley has decided to assist the Canterbury Athletic Club at the Championship Meeting at Wanganui. The Canterbury athletic team for the New Zealand Amateur Athletic and Cycling Championship Meeting arrived in Wellington by the Penguin on Monday, on their way to Wanganui, whoro the meeting is to, be held this week. Auckland, February 7. The athletes chosen to represent Auckland at the New Zealand - Amateur Championship Meeting at Wanganui left by the Takapuna to-day for New Plymouth; thence they go by rail to Wanganui. Mr A. Cotter is acting as manager, Mr Davis being unable to get away.
