Exhibition Handicap, of 300 sovs ; second horse to receive 30 sovs, and the third horse 10 sovs from the stakes. N.B. —All events close at 9 p.m. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd— Nominations for all events on the programme, except the Maiden Hack Race. 1 sov each. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER PithWeights declared for all the first day’s handicaps. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18th— Acceptances for all the first day’s events, and Entries for the Maiden Hack Race. Weights for the second day declared about noon on Monday, November 23rd, and acceptances close the same night at 9 o’clock. Definition of a Hack. —A Hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter races excepted), and is not or has not been nominated in any race other than hack and hunter races at the same meeting. All nominations, entries and acceptances, ac- ] companied by the necessary amounts payable, 1 close at the Club Hotel, Wellington, not 1 later than 9 pm. on the advertised dates of : closing.
