NORFOLK ISLAND.
London, April 29. Bishop Selwyn, addressing fcho Colonial Party formed among tho members of the Honso of Commons, said that to transfer tho administration of Norfolk Island from tho Imperial Government to the New South Wales Government would violate the privileges of 40 years. The Rev Dr Codrington, the well-known Helauesian missionary, spoke to similar effect. Tho Hon W. P. Reeves, Agent-General for Now Zealand, urged New Zealand's claims for the control of the island.
