SHOOTING.
The Petono Rifle Club and the Ivarori Piflo Club tried conclusions on the latter’s range on Saturday last. The match ended in a victory for the senior club by 57 points. The conditions were :—Seven men a side and 10 shots each at 500 and GOO yards. The wind was very baffling at the first range, but at the longer range it steadied considerably, with the result that better results were obtained than at the shorter range.
