THE HON MR REEVES.
Adelaide, February 5. Mr W. P. Reeves was entertained last night at a “ social ” by the United Labour Party. The Premier and two oi his colleagues and most of the labour members were present. At last week’s meeting of the Anti-Chinese League, Mr A. Orr moved, “ That this meeting accords to the Hon W. P. Reeves its lieariy Congratulations upon his appointment to the important office of Agent-General of the Colony ; and also 1 hanks him for his able advocacy of tlie cause of labour, more particularly in his endeavour to piss info law the Undesirable.lmmigrants Exclusion Bill ; and that a copy of tin's resolution be conveyed to the Hon Mr Reeves.’' The motion was seconded by Mrs Livermore, and carried Uikinimoilslv-
