BOWLING.
On the Wellington Bowling Club’s Green on Saturday afternoon, a match between Loekie and Mentiplay for the champion bowls resulted in a win for the latter, who has now to meet Ballinger. White and Oughton played for the junior bowls, and when play ceased for the day Ous-hton had won one game, and was 14 to White’s 11 in a second game. The match will be resumed at the earliest opportunity.
