THE TARIFF COMMISSION.
The warrant of appointment in respect of the promised Poyal Commission on the subject of the revision of the tariff was completed on Monday last. The Commission consists of Major Ste\vard and Messrs J. Duthie, W. W. Tanner, Wm. Hutchison, J. Stevens, J. McGowan and Thos. Mackenzie, M.’sH.R. Mr Larnach was offered a seat but declined, as he is confined to his house by the effects of his recent buggy accident.
