A trotting match of two miles for .£lO took place on the Hutt road on Saturday between Mr J. Hogg’s Khandallah (owner) and Mr P. Maloney’s Miro (J. Turnbull). Khandallah conceded his opponent 15 seconds start, and won by a head. Mr J. Walters acted as starter, and Mr G. Wadlaington as judge.
