THE R.M.S. MARIPOSA AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, April 20. Tho R.M.S. Mariposa arrived to-day from San Francisco, via Honolulu and Apia. The passengers for New Zealand are : —Miss Tucker, Messrs Birch, Young, Hill, Millar and Mcßoborts. THE lONIC AT HOBART. Hobart, Mayl. Arrived —lonic, from London. The steamer brings 100 passengers for Now Zoalaud, and 41 for Australia. She sails at midnight for Auckland. Tho steamer Terranora, on her northern journey to the lighthouses, is to call in at the supposed site of the wreck of the Grecian Bend and investigate the wreckage which is to bo seen by passing vessels. A quantity of wreckage from the illfated Kiwi has been picked up by the Natives on tho East Coast. The Sarah and Mary, with a cargo of wheat from Lyttelton for tho Bluff, has put into Port Chalmers with the loss of the whole of her sails, which were blown to ribbons on the 23rd instant, when about 25 miles east of the Bluff. . It appears after all that the ship Mercator is missing. One of the Dunedin insurance companies interested cabled to Adelaide on tho subject, and received a reply to the effect that through a “ code ” mistake the vessel had been wrongly reported as having arrived at London. Tho local agents for tho New Zealand Shipping Company have been advised that the steamers Duke of Sutherland, Duke of Westminster and Mashona from New Zealand ports have reached Home, also that the Otarama left Middlesborough foWellington on March 16th in ballast. Tho following passengers are hooked by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s ss lonic, which left Plymouth for Auckland and Wellington on 24th March First saloon for Wellington—Mrs and Miss Batson, Messrs S. Batson and P. Scott ; third-class—Mrs and Miss Webb, Messrs F. Heaps, A. James, F. Leason, R. Locke} r , N. Marshall, J. Watson. Saloon for other ports—Mesdames Argravo, Reynolds and North, Messrs W. Argravo, H. Ballard, E. Chute, L. North, H. Reynolds, L. Stack, Master Reynolds ; 19 thirdclass for other ports. London, April 27. Arrived —Duke of Westminster, from Las Palmas; Duke of Sutherland, from Lyttelon (February 21th); Mashona, from Wellington (February 20th). The Ruahino is loading for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waikato, which is loading for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, is advertisod to sail on the 19th May. The Duke of Sutherland will load for Auckland and Wellington, and is expected to sail on the 2nd June.
