(press ASSOCIATION.) Greymouth, May 6. The export of coal for the week was 40S0 tons. Reef ton gold returns this week : -Globe, 160 oz amalgam from 160 tons; Cumberland, 1240 z amalgam from 100 tons ; Progress, 3300 z amalgam from 200 tons ; Big River, 2040 z gold from 135 tons. Dunebin, May 6. The Dunedin Gold Diedglng Company had 140 oz gold. The Kaitangata Coalmine was eleotrioally lighted last night. Auckland, May 6. The Caseels Company has purobased the aooumulated tailings of the Waihi Goldmining Company for the sum of £SOOO. Westport, May 6. The coal export for the week ended tonight waa 5036 tons.
