DUNEDIN ITEMS.
(PRESS association.) Dunedin, February 22. A Christian convention waa held to-day on the reserve at the north end of the town, and was attended by about 500 persons. It is conducted on the lines of the Keswick Convention. At the annual meeting of the District Grand Lodge, 1.0.G.T., resolutions were carried in favour of female franchise, and giving the people the power of direot veto in the liquor traffic, and to seoure the cooperation of all temperance friends in a united scheme.
