A Chilian cabin boy, belonging to the schooner Sketty Bell, has been murdered at Thursday Isiand, iu the same way as the Whitechapel victims. The body avas cut up and horribly mutilated. The cook of the vessel has been arrested on suspicion. Brisbane, May 30. The cook of the schooner Sketty Bell has been committed for trial for the murder and mutilation of the cabin boy at Thursday Island. Sydney, May 30. News has been received from the Solomon Islands that a trader named Frank Nyburg, at St Anna, was attacked by natives during a quarrel among themselves, and speared to death. The natives afterwards fired and looted his store.
