(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Masterton, October 8. At a meeting of tho Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association, held yesterday, to discuss the question of amalgamation with the Wairarapa Society, the following resolution was passed : —“ This society regrets that the fixing of the site for the amalgamated show by the Wairarapa and East Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Society, in their overtures towards amalgamation, prevents this society from taking any steps in furtherance of the objects of amalgamation. If the question of sit 9 were open to independent arbitration, this society would be pleased to take aotlon.”
