Tuesday, January 7. For Nelson, Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika, per Mawhera. For Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, per Southern Cross, at 2.20 pm. For Southern offices of New Zealand, per Takapuna, at 5 pm. Wednesday, January 8, For Southern offices of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.20 am. For Nelson, per Rotorua, at 5 pm. Thursday, January 9. For Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Rio de Janeiro and Teneriffe (due in London 20th Febuary) (Money orders, registered letters books, and papers at noon). Parcels for despatch by this mail close at 5 pm on Wednesday, Bth inst, per Arawa, at 1 pm. For Southern offices of New Zealand, per Rotorua, at 2.20 pm. Friday, January 10. For Picton, Nelson, Greymouth, and Hokitiki, per Grafton, at 11.20 am. For Southern offices of New Zealand, per Rotorua, at 2.20 pm. For Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland, and Australian Colonies, via Sydney, (connecting with ss Arawata at Auckland) per Rotomahana, at 4.20 pm. Saturday, January 11. Mails for Auckland, overland to New Plymouth, and thence by steamer from the Waitara, close at 6 am each Tuesday and Friday. Late letters bearing an additional Id stamps as a ‘ late fee 1 may be posted up to 6.50 am, in the royal mail van attached to the Manawatu train. J. HOGGARD, Chief Clerk.
