NOTES.
ladies’ CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION. .
It will be seen from the report which we publish in another column of this issue, that the Ladies’ Christian Association is again able
to show some excellent work done. What with the _ Dorcas Society for supplying clothing to the poor, the Mothers’_ Union for promoting the proper bringing up of children ; the Home for Friendless Women, and other branches of the institution, it is evident that the labours undertaken by the members in so true a spirit of Christian charity have been very heavy, but we cannot doubt that those who have imposed upon themselves all this hard work for the benefit of their fellow creatures, have found their reward in the knowledge of the good they have done. The Association deserves all possible support, and we trust that this will be amply forthcoming during the current year.
