MINING RETURNS.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Greymouth, April 28. Globe, 7600 z of amalgam from 185 tons of stone. The monthly clearing up is 5530 zof retorted gold from 735 tons of stone. A shilling dividend is declared. The Keep-it-Dark will not clean up till next Saturday. Hokitika, April 2S. At Nelly’s Terrace minors are working a very rich lead lately struck. Seven men have obtained 3Soz sdwts of gold, valued at £135, for six days’ work. It is believed that the lead will extend a long distance, and there are every indications of its permanency.
